High performance computing (HPC) and AI environments need to fully utilize all the bandwidth provided by NVIDIA Mellanox HDR 200Gb/s switch systems. The NVIDIA QM8700 switch offers up to 40 ports, each supporting 200Gb/s full bidirectional bandwidth. In addition, the new NVIDIA HDR100 technology can support up to 80 ports with a bandwidth of 100Gb/s per port, enabling HDR switches to provide double the density for 100Gb/s data rates, thereby reducing the cost of network design and topology.
